Summer Serve Event – July 10-14, 2017

Thanks to all our volunteers and those that supported our very first Summer Serve Event. It was a huge success! The week included approximately 250 volunteers, including new partnerships with the Clark Multi-Purpose Center, Union Baptist Church and the Clark Neighborhood Watch. These groups not only represent the area in which we served, they served along with us. Volunteers did an amazing amount of yard work and home repairs for 15 residents in the community, sorted hangers and washed trucks for the Peninsula Rescue Mission, participated in ESL & crafts with Refugees, installed shelving at Nehemiah’s Nook, and finished some painting at Newport Harbour Apartments.
